| CIVITAS CATALIST is the project of the CIVITAS Initiative responsible for ensuring that the experiences of the programme are exploited up to a maximum level and up-taken by as large a community of cities as possible.
CIVITAS CATALIST aims to involve an ever growing number of cities in the CIVITAS Initiative, not as project partners, but as actors subscribing to a new mobility culture. The idea is to expose cities to the benefits yielded by the CIVITAS approach, providing funding for the adoption of CIVITAS-like policies. The CIVITAS CATALIST project incorporates an “Activity Fund” to be progressively disbursed to finance on-demand activities promoted by take-up cities (local authorities, public transport operators and public agencies which have not been/are involved in projects already funded by the CIVITAS Initiative ), through dedicated Calls for Application.
The second "Call for applications" and the "Final Activity Report" (summarising the project activities and results over the full duration) will be available from 23 February 2009 for download!
