Master Class* : Strengthening the role and function
of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to Promote
Change and Enable Action in the Urban Environment


 

A five-day programme of capacity building is being offered in each country/territory of the Western Balkans during 2008. Targeting CSOs active in the field of urban sustainability, it will look to address two key questions: “What’s my role in effecting change and environmental action? How can I make a difference?”

Within each national programme five training modules, tailored to the country conditions and hosted in the local language, will build knowledge and skills on “How to..” successfully accomplish:

Each module will span 1 ½ days. Participants will be expected to share their experiences and will receive a certificate of completion.

The programme places emphasis on both theoretical and practical learning. Because it includes two parallel programmes, places are therefore offered to up to two individuals per organisation.
